Refund Policy

1. Thirty days, no explanation needed

You can ask for a full refund of a purchase within thirty days of it, with no reason given.

If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, you also have the statutory fourteen-day right of withdrawal. This policy does not replace it: it extends it, which is why the period we apply is thirty days.

2. Who returns the money

The merchant of record is Paddle, so the refund is executed by Paddle onto the same payment method you bought with. There are two routes, and both work:

• Write to me at soporte@irwinrodriguez.dev with your order identifier (it is in your portal) or the email used for the purchase. I then request the refund from Paddle.
• Ask Paddle directly, from the link on your receipt or at paddle.net, which is Paddle's buyer portal.

I act on the request within five working days. How long the money then takes to appear in your account is up to Paddle and your bank: usually another three to five working days.

3. Conditions

• The request has to be made within thirty days of the purchase.
• The license must not have been revoked for breaching the terms of service.
• The refund always goes back to the original payment method.

4. What happens to the license

When a purchase is refunded, the associated license is revoked and stops being valid: you cannot keep using the product with it. If you want to come back later, you buy a new license at whatever the price is then.

5. Maintenance renewals

A maintenance renewal falls under this same policy. If you refund it within thirty days, the full amount is returned and the maintenance end date goes back to what it was before renewing. The license itself, which is perpetual, is untouched.

6. Trial licenses

Trial licenses are free, so there is nothing to refund.
