FoxAgent, as shown at Virtual Fox Fest 2026

This is the installer used in the session on October 22, 2026. The session materials from the organizers include the demo app (FoxMart), an evaluation license and a README. The installer lives here because it does not fit in an email.

Three steps

1. 1

   Install FoxAgent

   Run the installer. It sets up the Broker service, the Bridge and the MCP host, and registers FoxAgent with Claude Desktop, Cursor or OpenCode if it finds them.

2. 2

   Put the license next to the Broker

   Copy foxagent.lic from the materials zip into the FoxAgent folder (C:\Program Files\FoxAgent by default), next to FoxAgent.Broker.exe, and restart the FoxAgent Broker service.

3. 3

   Run FoxMart, then your MCP client

   In Visual FoxPro 9, from the DemoPOS folder of the zip: DO main.prg. Start Claude afterwards, so it picks up the business tools. The README in the zip has the logins and prompts to try.

About the evaluation license

• It is the same file for every attendee, it is not tied to a machine, and it expires on January 27, 2027.
• It allows three VFP instances per machine. Without it, FoxAgent runs in evaluation mode: one instance and one business tool.
• When it expires, delete the file and FoxAgent goes back to evaluation mode. A license of your own is one click away in the portal.
