These terms apply to anyone who buys or uses a Golem license, in addition to the site's general Terms of Service. "The Provider" means Irwin Rodriguez (irwinrodriguez.dev), as in those terms.
Golem is a remote administration tool for technicians who support Windows applications on their customers' machines. While a session lasts, Claude can run commands, move files and see the screen of that other machine from the technician's computer.
You may only use Golem on machines whose owner or person in charge has authorized access, and you must have that authorization before every session.
The product is built so that this permission is visible: someone at that machine starts the agent and hands you the connection line. Handing over the line is giving consent; closing the agent's window withdraws it.
You may not use Golem to:
If you breach points 2 or 3, the Provider may revoke the license without refund: normally after a written warning, and without prior warning if the prohibited use is proven. Revoking it deactivates it in the portal, so it is neither renewed nor issued again, and the Provider may refuse to renew maintenance. Golem does not communicate with the Provider and cannot be switched off remotely: continuing to use a revoked license is also a breach of these terms.
You are responsible for how you use Golem and for what you do on every machine you connect to. The Provider is not liable for damage arising from that use.
Upon a formal request from an authority, the Provider will hand over the information it holds. That information is the license and purchase data: holder, email, dates and machine ID. Golem does not send sessions, commands or files to the Provider, so it does not have them.
Nothing goes through the Provider's infrastructure. The connection goes straight from the technician's computer to the customer's machine, or through the Cloudflare tunnel that the customer sets up.
The license is checked offline, on the technician's computer. The audit log (golem-audit.log) lives on the customer's machine and belongs to them.
During the session, the agent's window shows the name of the license holder, and that name is also written to that local log.
If you believe someone is using Golem without authorization, against you or against a machine that is not theirs, write to abuse@irwinrodriguez.dev.
These terms complement the site's general Terms of Service. Where the two conflict as regards Golem, these prevail.
